Group Classes

Tokyo Academics classes are structured to provide individualized curriculum and learning in a group environment. You’ll be able to take advantage of class discussions, group work, and positive peer pressure through all of our classes. We strictly limit class sizes to ensure a high level of student-teacher interaction.

Our classes generally fall into 3 categories:

  • Test Prep and Foundations (10 person limit): These courses provide preparation for the SAT and ACT examinations. You’ll be lead through Tokyo Academics’ in-house curriculum and learn how to crack that oh-so-important standardized exam.
  • Middle School Success (12 person limit): We have a comprehensive curriculum to bolster your fundamental capabilities and skill across Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, Critical Thinking, and Mathematics. All of these are critical for further academic success.
  • High School Companion Courses (6 person limit): These classes aim to support students currently enrolled in their respective courses in their high school. Your high school class is the lecture, and Tokyo Academics is the teaching assistant, here to explain everything to you and the group what might not have completely understood from class.
