RESEARCH

Pursue your passion – go down the rabbit hole and find out where it leads. Our academic and technology mentors have diverse specialties and can help you pursue whatever research project you have in mind. Be it building a drone, conducting a social science experiment, or developing new software – TA has someone who can help you, and your work, reach its full potential.

In a world where information, hardware, and software have never been more accessible, do something that you’re passionate about, and that reflects the true you.

RESEARCH PROJECTS

Acquiring a deeper understanding of the world – be it through the lens of social science, history, biology, or psychology – is one of the most crucial aspects of a modern education. TA can help you both refine your project and acquire the skills to enable you to see it through to a satisfactory conclusion — skills that will serve you well when it comes to doing further projects in the future.

Possibilities for projects (including former TA projects):

-Demographic surveys of student populations

-Collection of biometric data to evaluate correlations with other characteristics

-Analysis of governmental econometric data

-Documentation of health conditions of immigrants in Tokyo

TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS (SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE)

The interface between software and hardware; manipulating machines and code to build robots and drones; designing programs – these are all crucial skills in today’s digital world. Coding, designing, and test-running such initiatives are now regarded as an essential part of a contemporary education, and TA is proud to offer some of the highest-quality training and assistance in this field.

We have supported students on numerous technology projects:

-Chess-playing artificial intelligence engine

-Application of player-tracking devices and analysis of data in sports environments

-Algorithm for automated identification of individuals from visual data

-And far more
