Bio:
Jonathan received a B.S. in Biology with honors in 2017 from Northeastern University, where he was a recipient of the Presidential Merit Scholarship and the Presidential Global Scholarship for his academic performance and work with international research teams. He has been a tutor since his second year of college, starting with his freshman peers and later expanding to high school, middle school, and elementary school students in the areas of English, test preparation, mathematics, and the sciences. He has a history of scoring highly on standardized tests, including the SAT®, SAT® subject tests, ACT, and AP® examinations, of which he took 5 in high school and was awarded as AP® Scholar with Distinction. He also has experience in helping students prepare for the TOEFL and IELTS examinations. He has research experience as a programmer and laboratory technician with several international teams that led to a number of publication credits in international journals.
Jonathan believes that curiosity and critical thinking are key to long term academic success, and strives to inspire these traits in his students. His proudest achievements are his students: young scientists solving the world’s hardest problems at top universities, ready for a lifetime of learning.
