Bio:

Cordelia graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Communication in 2019 and a Master of Arts in Asian Studies in 2020. At Cornell University, Cordelia worked as a research assistant for the Group and Interpersonal Communication Lab, where she co-authored three publications, presented the lab’s research at the 2018 International Communication Association conference in Prague, and won best student paper at the 2019 National Communication Association conference. She also dedicated herself to community service through weekly volunteering and working as a Resident Advisor in her dormitory for upperclassmen and transfer students.

During her time in university, Cordelia worked in Japan for three consecutive summers as an English instructor, teaching ESL, English conversation, TOEIC and TOEFL test prep in both Kyoto and Ibaraki to students ranging in age from kindergarteners to senior citizens.

In high school, Cordelia passed 9 AP® tests, served as the captains for both the Varsity Fencing and Badminton teams, and performed with her band and orchestra at several prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall.

In her free time, Cordelia enjoys exploring Tokyo’s local restaurants and traveling around Japan. Cordelia’s goal is to travel to all 47 of Japan’s prefectures.
