Bio:

Angela earned her Bachelor of Arts from the McGill University with a major in East Asian Studies and a minor in Education. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Education, specializing in International Education and making the Dean’s List each semester.

Angela is a seasoned educator with a proven track record of delivering exceptional instruction. For over 10 years, Angela has been working in public and private schools around the world. She has lived and taught in Canada, South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. With extensive experience in diverse educational settings, she has honed her ability to create engaging and effective learning environments.

Angela is passionate about making learning relevant and meaningful to students. She believes in bridging the gap between curriculum and student interest. This means weaving real-world applications into lessons, encouraging students to see the practical value of their studies.

She also always strives to foster a positive and supportive teacher-student relationship. A classroom environment built on trust and mutual respect allows students to feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and embracing challenges. When they see their teacher as a guide and partner in their learning journey, students are more likely to be open to new ideas and persevere through difficulties.

In her free time, Angela enjoys traveling. She has visited all 47 prefectures in Japan, and especially enjoys train travel. She also loves singing and goes to karaoke whenever she can!
