College Talks: Why A+ Students Still Get Rejected

February 23 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm JST

When it comes to the college admissions process, having great grades is important, but grades only account for a fraction of an applicant’s overall profile. This event is designed for both parents and students to gain insight into why academic performance alone won’t secure admission. College admissions officers are looking for much more— leadership, community involvement, and perseverance to name a few. The best way to showcase these qualities is beyond the classroom through extracurricular involvement and other application components.

In this webinar, we’ll explore the other factors that play a crucial role in today’s evolving admissions landscape. From community service to internships and personal projects, students will learn how to differentiate themselves by showcasing what makes them unique, even among those with similar academic records.

Parents will come away with tips on how to guide and support their children as they look for ways to grow beyond academics. Students will leave with practical advice on how to craft a college application that highlights their full potential.

Join us to discover how to strengthen your college applications and make sure you’re putting your best foot forward in an increasingly competitive admissions process!
