I can say with certainty that my consultant has had the single most significant influence on my high school career. Ever since our first AP® World History DBQ lesson and the group class sessions that followed, he has given me tremendous support and guidance in every way possible. It was a major turning point in my life (haha, get it?). He made me genuinely enjoy learning, and I looked forward to our weekly AP®WH group lessons. Thanks to his incredible teaching, I did really well in the class.

It didn’t take long before I came to rely heavily on his wisdom. I’ve never felt as comfortable or honest with a teacher-like figure before, and I believe it’s because he shows an unmatched level of care. I constantly found myself thinking, ‘What would he tell me to do?’ His influence extends far beyond the classroom at Tokyo Academics—he’s become a part of the way I think and make decisions.

So much of my success is owed to the academic and emotional support he provided. I can confidently say I have learned more from him than from any other teacher or counselor. His commitment to his students’ happiness is inspiring, and it’s incredible to see how tirelessly he works to share his immense knowledge with us.
